You would be working as part of a dynamic team with nine other radiologists.
The department offers:General XrayCTMRIInterventionAngiographyUltrasoundNuclear MedicineFluoroscopyAll modalities are state of the art, with CT, MRI, and ultrasound all upgraded in 2022.
An integrated regional RIS/PACS is in use.If you are looking for an opportunity to challenge yourself and take on a leadership role, we have the following leadership opportunities available in the department:Director of Training - Te Whatu Ora Taranaki are in the process of becoming an accredited training facility with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology.
We are seeking a Consultant Radiologist to lead the training programme.Clinical Lead Breast RadiologyClinical Lead MRIClick here to view more information about the Department of Radiology.Click here to view the position description.Mou - About youYou will possess essential skills that include plain film, ultrasound, CT, and MRI reporting.
Desirable skills would include sub-specialty interest in any of: musculoskeletal MRI; general interventional radiology (no intracranial work); CT colonography; cardiac CT, or nuclear medicine.Ideally you will hold vocational registration from the Medical Council of New Zealand, or be eligible for such registration holding recognised post-graduate qualifications from another country.You may be eligible for relocation assistance and a generous continuing education allowance and days.Do you share in our vision, our values and will ensure our patients feel supported and cared for throughout their journey with us?
