As a Radiologist, you will be supporting these services through regular MDTs as well as your day-to-day work delivering high-quality care, ongoing quality improvement, developing new services through innovation and teaching.To review the position profile, click HERE.About the Team/Service/LocationYou will be part of a collaborative collegial team of up to eleven providing high-quality care, improving equity and health outcomes for our local population, with a high Maori and Pasifika population. The team is part of the regional training programme with currently one registrar.There are many opportunities to develop subspecialist interests that will complement the department's current service, with high levels of unmet need in our community. An environment and work/life balance that is second to none.About youApplicants must be registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist and ideally a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology, or equivalent (such as FRCR).Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
