We have an exciting opportunity for a Radiologist with sub-speciality in Paediatrics to join our experienced Paediatric Radiologist team to deliver high quality Radiology services to the district and wider region.
Wellington Regional Hospital is one of New Zealand's five tertiary medical centres and our radiology department is a recognised training institution for Registrars MITs and Sonographers. An emphasis is placed on teaching, including on-going personal and professional development.
The Paediatric Radiologist team work closely and support the Neonatal service, in and outpatient Paediatric services and Paediatric services. The majority of paediatrics services are delivered in the recently completed and wonderful new Te Wao Nui – Child Health service and hospital onsite at Wellington Regional Hospital.
Our Paediatric Radiologists are an important part of the wider diagnostic Radiologist team and contribute to the general workload of the department including the diagnostic on-call roster.
We also have a close working relationships with our other regional hospitals in Hutt Valley and Wairarapa.
Vocationally registered in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) FRANZCR or equivalent qualification and be able to register for vocational registration with the MCNZ Have completed a fellowship or extensive experience in Paediatric Radiology Experienced in diagnostic radiology services including but not limited to: Plain films, Fluoroscopic and special procedures, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Angiography On call component Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team Able to provide consistently high standards of medical care #J-18808-Ljbffr
