The team is based on a ring-fenced ward for arthroplasty, shared with the rehabilitation team offering a highly valued service to the community.The on-call roster is provided by five Consultants with excellent support from the Orthopaedic community around New Zealand. The department provides general, acute and elective care with current sub-specialty interests including Hip and Knee Arthroplasty, Paediatrics and Sports Surgery.
