Korero mo te turanga - About the role
We are looking for a Medical Specialist (SMO) or Medical Officer (MOSS) to work in Minor Procedures, who is interested in working in Taranaki to improve, promote, protect and care for the health and wellbeing of the people of Taranaki. The role is permanent, working 4 hours of patient contact per week in clinic, plus non-clinical time (0.16FTE total).

Are you a qualified Health Professional who can practise in New Zealand who would embrace an exciting opportunity in a beautiful province with fantastic work life balance? Do you share in our vision, our values and will ensure our patients feel supported and cared for throughout their journey with us?
The successful applicant should have comprehensive experience and training in General Surgery and must have the FRACS with vocational registration or equivalent qualifications. The department has a strong track record with audit and you will be expected to participate and contribute to the department's activities including advanced trainee registrar teaching, supervision of house surgeons, audit and medical student teaching.
