Consultant Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist | Northland | NZOdyssey Recruitment – Northland region$200,000 - $200,000 a yearFull timeAbout 2 months ago, from Odyssey RecruitmentSeeking a consultant radiologist practising diagnostic and interventional radiology for a full-time post in a public sector hospital in New Zealand's North Island just 30 minutes flight from international hub Auckland.The hospital is a 260 bed secondary general facility with a full range of medical and surgical services including a 24/7 emergency department. It supports three small satellite hospitals across the Northland region of the North Island of New Zealand and enjoys tertiary support from Auckland.Position Highlights:Radiology department provides a range of diagnostic imaging services to the Northland region, undertaking over 100,000 procedures annually.A wide range of services and modalities are performed including X-Ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy, and core interventional procedures.Modern imaging equipment with two CT scanners (256 slice and 16 Slice) and a 1.5T MRI.Multi-skilled, tight-knit team in one of the most beautiful areas of New Zealand.Multi-disciplinary meetings are held weekly with involvement from all specialties.Further subspecialist training can be pursued.Attractive salary package, relocation support, and study leave.The area of Northland is a forested, subtropical region on New Zealand's North Island, framed by the Pacific Ocean and Tasman Sea.
