(Who is an appropriate applicant?)The ideal applicant will:Have an FRACP with subspecialist training recognised by the Dermatology Society.Be eligible for an Annual Practising Certificate and vocational scope of Dermatology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.Have proven experience in a clinical dermatology setting.Be looking to work independently as a dermatologist in provincial hospitals.Demonstrate experience in diagnosing and procedural skills.Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to promote a cohesive team culture of collaborative practice, openness, humour, and respect across disciplines.Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development and quality improvement.Collegiality and collaboration across all disciplines are keys to providing successful services to our patients and community.
