The salary for this position is based on the current Senior Medical and Dental Officer collective agreement dependent on skills, experience, and vocational registration in NZ. In addition to your salary, you will:

Have access to an employer-matched Superannuation contribution of up to 6% of annual earnings.

The successful applicant will:
Conduct thorough dermatological assessments and provide accurate diagnoses for patients in the Nelson Marlborough Region.
Educate patients on skincare, prevention, and treatment options.
Develop and implement effective treatment plans for various skin conditions.
Perform dermatological procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and laser treatments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dermatology and integrate new knowledge into practice.
This role involves providing comprehensive dermatological care to patients across the Nelson and Blenheim regions. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of dermatological conditions.

The ideal applicant will:
Have an FRACP with subspecialist training recognised by the Dermatology Society.
Be eligible for an Annual Practising Certificate and vocational scope of Dermatology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Have proven experience in a clinical dermatology setting.
Demonstrate experience in diagnosing and procedural skills.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development and quality improvement.
