Your Role
Exciting opportunity to partner with our brokers and truly drive the relationship!
The position requires a close working relationship with our underwriting teams, CPF and NZI colleagues as well as delivering quality service and support to our broker partners.
In this role, you'll be responsible for new business, renewal retention, growth of profitable business and mentoring of newer brokers. One of CPF's competitive advantages is being based in broker's offices. You'll work in partnership with Aon Brokers, getting to understand customer needs, assessing risk accordingly and underwriting new and renewal business.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity, offering flexible working options. You will be based out of our Broker's office in Palmerston North (Te Papaioea).

About You
We are looking for someone who is agile and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will also demonstrate:
Experience in sales distribution within the insurance industry
Experience with commercial insurance underwriting and pricing
Strong relationship management skills to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
Commercial awareness and understanding of the local commercial insurance market
Sound decision making skills with the ability to exercise judgment
Proactive, self-motivated and success orientated
