About the Role:
Working in a collaborative team environment the Consulting Anaesthetist will provide exceptional anaesthetic services within a multi-disciplinary team of medical officers and nursing staff to patients. 
The Consulting Anaesthetist will ensure that patient care is centred safe and timely. 
 
Skills & Qualifications required:

FANZCA (or equivalent)
Relevant Leadership experience
Must hold qualifications that meet the criteria for vocational registration or eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

Key responsibilities:

Providing specialist-level anaesthetic services 
Fostering of relationships with colleagues and other hospital specialists 
Providing clinical leadership supervision and teaching of junior medical staff
Participating in clinical meetings and safety activities. 
Providing care for all age groups.   
There are several full-time permanent positions available working 80 hours per fortnight.
