The Consultant is also responsible for liaison and support of primary care providers as well as NGO partners. The role entails supporting the medical development of this service and liaising with other services/hospital departments as required.Tuhonohono Addiction Services (Community Alcohol and Drug Service, Opioid Treatment Service, provision of the Managed Withdrawal Service, and Co-Existing Disorder Service) is a multidisciplinary team comprising nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, specialist medical staff, and administration staff.
