Construction Worker Labourerss

We are currently looking for multiple Construction Worker Labourers!You will be based in West Coast but may also be required to work in Waikato, Wellington, Taranaki, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Manawatu-Whanganui, Canterbury, Northland, Otago, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman and Auckland. This may require the need to travel away from home or relocate.This is a full-time permanent position. Wages are between $26.69 - $35.00 per hour, and you will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week.The role involves work on residential, commercial, and industrial sites and includes (but is not limited to):Assisting with the construction or demolition of any building/site foundation worksAssisting with the construction or demolition of any building/site external worksAssisting with construction or demolition of any building/site internal worksFollowing specific instructions as given by site managementLoading and unloading building and construction materials, tools and equipment and transporting them around building sitesErecting and dismantling temporary structures such as barricades and scaffoldingAssistance with installation of steel reinforcementsAssistance with any framing, foundations, drywall, tiling, welding, paving etcMixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete, plaster and mortarDigging holes and removing excavated materialSpreading and levelling soil, gravel and sand on roads and driveways, trench bottoms and similar locationsGeneral site tidyingThe ideal candidate:1 years' relevant experience in construction or similarCan work unsupervised or part of a teamWilling to undergo pre-employment drug screeningAble to complete basic paperwork when neededUnderstands and practices the principles of zero harmCalm, professional temperament and a good work ethicPlease note that you must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and some sites may require pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test.
