Whakatane High School is a co-educational school in the sunny Eastern Bay of Plenty with approximately 1200 students.
Applications are invited for the full-time fixed term construction tutor to run our Mahi Whakamana programme. This programme is a full-time trades programme delivered onsite at our school. Students are Trades Academy students who have committed to a 3 or 5 day construction programme. They will be building a two-bedroom house on our school site. The right person will be a trades certified builder and hold a current LBP.
The right person will also be highly relational, culturally responsive, and have a passion for creating the next generation of tradespeople!
