Our team covers transactional and advisory construction work (front-end), and dispute and dispute advisory work (back-end), across all sectors in the industry. This opportunity is for a senior role in the front-end team, based in Auckland.The team is at the forefront, advising key industry participants on all aspects of the planning, procurement, tendering and delivery of major projects and works programs. You will work closely with the partners and an impressive and growing client base including central and local government, listed companies, financial institutions and private business. Advising in the private and public sector, you will be expected to lead projects by working directly with the client and its project team and providing expert advice to clients. The projects are across a range of infrastructure and commercial sectors including transport, energy, utilities, and large scale office, residential, retail, and industrial. This role offers you the opportunity to be involved in significant construction transactions being undertaken by the team and work alongside from some of the leading lawyers in this practice area as well as support and mentor a strong, committed cohort of junior, intermediate and senior solicitors.Minimum Requirements:Background of not less than 4 years' transactional/advisory construction experience at a senior level.Intellectually and commercially astute.The team is collegial, committed, energetic, and highly-capable.
