Duties & Responsibilities As a Construction Manager specializing in water, reservoir, and wastewater projects in New Zealand, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction activities for projects related to water infrastructure, reservoirs, and wastewater treatment facilities. You will work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of construction projects in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning: Lead the development of project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting for water, reservoir, and wastewater projects. Construction Oversight: Supervise and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is completed on time and within budget. Quality Assurance: Ensure construction activities adhere to project specifications and quality standards, conducting inspections and addressing non-conformities. Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and monitor adherence to health and safety regulations on the construction site. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with environmental and regulatory requirements, obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
