Construction Labourer

Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed. $26.69 - $31.69/hour No qualification required and no experience required. Training will be provided. Applicants must be physically fit. Applicants must pass pre-employment drug test. Applicants must provide a CV. The employee's primary tasks shall include but are not limited to: Loading and unloading construction materials and equipment by hand, machinery, and including transporting materials to and from building sites as directed by the employer, or site manager. Erecting, altering and laying out fences, and building frames and lines. Sanding, painting and preparing of surfaces as directed by the employer, or site manager. Demolishing and removing no longer needed elements of buildings, sites and areas which the employer directs. Preparing, mixing, spreading and levelling concrete, plaster and mortar. Insulating buildings, pipes and ducting for NZ healthy homes & building insulation and air conditions. Measuring and fitting awnings roofing cover, other home and building improvements. Assembling and un-assembling scaffolding, barricades and rigging. Digging holes and trenches, and spreading, levelling and compacting soil, gravel, sand and other materials. The employee shall immediately notify the employer or site manager of any hazard on the site or in the job that may jeopardize any persons safety or wellbeing.
