About the role
We are expanding our sales teams in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch to maximise market share and strengthen customer relationships.
As a Construction Equipment Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for driving sales across the region, based at our Christchurch Dealership. You'll play a key role in growing our market presence by actively engaging with new and existing customers, developing strong relationships, and providing expert product knowledge and support.
Key responsibilities will include: Full ownership of the sales process, from new customer prospecting to existing customer account management. Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, and other key stakeholders in the construction industry. Actively manage a sales pipeline via a CRM to achieve sales revenue and market share targets. Provide accurate quotes, manage sales contracts, and oversee product delivery and installations. Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to leverage opportunities for competitive advantage. To be successful, you will have: Proven experience in construction equipment sales or related capital equipment sales. Strong understanding of the construction industry and local market conditions. Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results.
