Add expected salary to your profile for insightsAs a Concrete Services and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for proactively managing and coordinating the operations related to the concrete crew at TIL and take full responsibility for delivering of concrete for diversified projects including building, civil, streetscape, Kerb channel and slip form operations works. This position will involve supervising staff, processes, and operations of the concrete operations and it is essential to have a very good knowledge about concreting & concreting products.The role:Work with a dedicated team, overseeing site processes, maintaining health and safety standards, QA, reporting progress, and overseeing and coordinating subcontractors. Be a crucial part of ensuring project success.Key Responsibilities:Carring out regular site inspections and discussing any issues with the concrete crew.Cost control measures on sites.Budgeting and forecasting for concreting works.Monitoring and managing the concrete crew performance.Ensure health and safety is being always adhered to.Coordinating the work plans for each active site among the contract managers and crew.Managing the performance and contracts of concrete related contracts and procuring new contracts as required.Ensure all contract transactions are carried out with the appropriate level of due diligence.Reviewing and evaluating contract variations with project team.Timely completion of assigned projects.To be successful you will have:The ability to train, mentor and supervise.Experience in concreting and supervising sites.Ability to work with budgets and forecasts.Strong written and oral communication skills.A positive attitude and being open to change.Highly organised with ability to multi-task and prioritise.Hands on approach to ensure delivery of tasks.Ability to liaise with clients, programming and scheduling works.Remuneration: Is based on experience, knowledge + SkillsYour application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a Service Operations Manager?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How many years of people management experience do you have?Do you have a current New Zealand driver's licence?How many years' experience do you have in the construction industry?
