Compressed Air Service Technician

Pneupower Air Equipment (2007) Ltd is part of the Engineering & Compressor Services Ltd group which is  the largest independently owned Compressor Company in NZ with 10 branches nationwide and over 50 staff, yet it is still family owned and run, so it has the job security and opportunities of a large company, with the feeling of involvement and family you get from a small company.
We are looking for a service technician role to fill.
Duties/Experience Required: Beneficial to have practical experience in the compressed air industry.Mechanically minded person, with a basic knowledge and understanding of machinery.An electrical understanding would also be an advantage.Applicant will be servicing compressors, vacuum pumps, pneumatic componentry and some diesel enginesWork autonomously and unsupervisedWould require a basic set of toolsMust hold a current NZ driver's licenseNormal hours of work are 8:0am to 4.30pm (30 min Lunch Break) Monday to FridayBe prepared to work outside of normal working hours as requiredIdeally suited to someone who has a positive can-do attitudeMust be able to liaise with a range of customersNew Zealand residency is required
