We are looking for motivated, hard-working, experienced production technicians to join our team. These roles require extensive composite experience and aid in the composite tooling, parts fabrication, and structural assembly process for both R&D and production parts while working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidates will be able to work with little to no supervision and are expected to be 100% onsite. You will work in a fast-paced environment focusing on quality and attention to detail. Major functions: Performs all duties required to fabricate and integrate composite parts and assemblies. Tasks required may include:wet layups, infusion and prepreg of carbon fibre and fibreglassoven operation to complete curing cyclesperforming minor part-fitting operations such as trimming, filing, drilling and sandingbonding of various materials (composite, metal, or laminate) to parts, components, assemblies, equipment, or structures to complete semi-finished or finished productsQuality control, including documentation and verification of finished productAdhere to health and safety standards in the workplaceEducation/Experience/Licenses etc. : NZ Register Diploma, or at least three years of relevant experience in composites (ANZSCO Skill Level 2); or NZ Register Level 4 qualification, or at least three years of relevant experience in composites (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) Required Skills: Excellent people and communication skillsOutstanding work ethic and commitment to organisational successAbility to read and understand drawings, procedures, and/or schedules.Knowledge and understanding of product quality processesAbility to accurately complete all required paperworkAble to lift assemblies weighing up to 20kgHave no known allergies to epoxies or other composite materials Location: Rukuhia (Tamahere), Waikato Weekly minimum hours: 40 Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, and Friday 7:30 am – 1:30 pm Min annual salary: NZD75,000 gross MAX annual salary: NZD90,000 gross ANZSCO: Group 3999
