They are now seeking to appoint a Component Engineer who is responsible for the online management of components within each electronics product.
This includes all activities from initial generation through to the removal from the SAP ERP system.
What you'll be doing: Generation and maintenance of BoMs and routings within the ERP system Ensuring BoMs reflect the requirements of the customers' products Creation and implementation of engineering change requests Providing support concerning any ECO / BoM / Component issues Verification of component specs/part numbers etc Identification of part numbers for customer items on purchase orders, quarantine notices etc What you'll bring: Engineering qualifications or relevant experience in Electronics Experience in a Manufacturing or similar environment Experience in the use of ERP systems (such as SAP) Strong electronic component knowledge Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the business Ability to solve problems, with a strong customer service focus to achieve set goals Strong communication and influencing skills Good planning and organising skills High level of attention to detail What's in it for you?
