They are now seeking to appoint a Component Engineer who is responsible for the online management of components within each electronics product. This includes all activities from initial generation through to the removal from the SAP ERP system.
What you'll be doing: Generation and maintenance of BoMs and routings within the ERP systemEnsuring BoMs reflect the requirements of the customers' productsCreation and implementation of engineering change requestsProviding support concerning any ECO / BoM / Component issuesVerification of component specs/part numbers etcIdentification of part numbers for customer items on purchase orders, quarantine notices etc What you'll bring: Engineering qualifications or relevant experience in ElectronicsExperience in a Manufacturing or similar environmentExperience in the use of ERP systems (such as SAP)Strong electronic component knowledgeAbility to effectively interact with all levels of the businessAbility to solve problems, with a strong customer service focus to achieve set goalsStrong communication and influencing skillsGood planning and organising skillsHigh level of attention to detail What's in it for you?
