Our environment here is part of who we are, and at ORC, we work each day to look after it.The OpportunityOur Environmental Delivery team at the Otago Regional Council is looking for a Compliance Support Coordinator to join the team on a permanent full-time basis (37.5 hrs per week) in our busy Dunedin office.The purpose of this role is to provide a range of timely and accurate administrative support services, supporting the regulatory process within the Otago Regional Council.As a Compliance Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for:Monitoring the consents lifecycle, including ensuring the database reflects the current statusIdentifying issues during the monitoring process and escalate as appropriateSupporting field staff to ensure their time in the field is efficiently usedCollating, processing and auditing biosecurity inspection data and data collected for other regulatory activitiesProviding a high level of customer service to all internal and external customersIf you are detailed-oriented and enjoy working in a team environment, then this is the role for you!About YouOur ideal candidate will have:Environmental Sciences or Social Sciences or Law degree (or similar) or at least 5 years' experience in providing high level business support in a complex environmentExperience with databases and data entry processesExperience following administrative proceduresUnderstanding of data collection, processing, and archiving principlesAbility to interpret consent conditions, regional rules and legislationGood knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)What we offerWe recognise and celebrate diversity within Team ORC and are committed to providing a work environment that supports inclusion and equal opportunities.
