A great place to work. We are seeking a Healthcare Compliance Specialist to join our team, ensuring that our healthcare operations and affiliated dental practices remain compliant with all applicable federal and state law, regulations and best practices.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, Medicaid, and the dental industry.
This position requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication with a variety of stakeholders.
The specialist will collaborate with different departments to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
This includes conducting risk assessments, developing training, investigating incidents, and staying informed about regulatory changes.
The role also involves managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

QualificationsA minimum of a bachelor's degree in public policy, law, healthcare, dental or related field and two (2) years healthcare compliance program experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.A thorough understanding and working knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, OIG, and state-specific healthcare and privacy laws is required.Experience researching and analyzing federal and state law is required.Knowledge of operational and regulatory issues related to healthcare compliance and privacy preferred.Dental industry knowledge and experience are preferred.Familiarity with medical/dental billing and coding is preferred.Certification as a Compliance Healthcare Specialist through HCCA, or similar compliance certification is preferred.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills and attention to detail required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.Exceptional time management and multitasking skills are required.The ability to work independently with limited direct supervision and closely with other team members is required.Ability to innovate and think outside of the box to enhance the Compliance Team.Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, internet resources, and various database programs.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups and cross-functional teams.Salary Range: 74,000 - 84,000 DOE
