The role sits within the Legal and Governance team business unit which is responsible for providing legal, governance, commercial, compliance and customer response services to the AMP Wealth Management New Zealand business. The team helps to drive business strategy by partnering with stakeholders in other business units to provide timely and pragmatic advice and guidance. You will:
Provide the business with advice and expertise to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, as well as new/amended products and services.Ensure we are aware of all legal and compliance risks, and assist in mitigating theseIdentify and develop controls or action plans to minimise the risksAssist the business to deal with regulatory changesManage the relationship with internal and external stakeholders.This is a permanent, part-time opportunity (20 hours per week), with working hours/day to be discussed. 
You'll have previous experience in a Risk/Compliance function, ideally with 1 st or 2 nd line of defenceKnowledge of NZ legislation and regulatory requirements Experience in supporting change initiatives would be helpfulStrong analytical, process and problem solving skills with a continuous improvement mindsetStakeholder management and enjoys forming positive relationships across a businessAs a bonus (for us), we'd love if you have financial services or banking experience Who we are – ko wai tatau  We're a leading provider of KiwiSaver, helping our clients to determine the best strategies to reach their financial goals.
