Your role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems, safeguarding the health and well-being of our communities.In this dynamic position, you will navigate complex regulatory landscapes, collaborate with a diverse team of experts, and implement innovative solutions to meet compliance standards. Your keen eye for detail, proactive approach, and unwavering commitment to excellence will drive our mission to deliver top-tier water services to the Far North District.We are seeking a candidate who offers:A relevant tertiary qualification, is currently pursuing one, or has equivalent practical experience.A minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical planning or regulatory role within an infrastructure setting.Familiarity with or a willingness to learn Tikanga Maori.Advanced skills in documentation, report writing, and workflow process development.Preferably, knowledge of New Zealand local government legislation, practices, and standards.A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for our community.A forward-thinking attitude focused on continuous improvement.Strong ability to build and maintain robust stakeholder relationships.Far North District Council is proud of our diverse workforce and is committed to maintaining an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.
