Our initial approach is usually to work collaboratively with people to achieve an amicable outcome.As part of a multi-skilled team, you will be involved in a range of work, including:Investigating and managing compliance with rules and regulationsMonitoring of resource consentsAssisting our Animal Management OfficerInvestigating health nuisancesWe are looking for a pragmatic team player who can quickly assess a situation, building rapport with people quickly to deliver a favorable outcome for all. The minimum requirements for this role include:Experience in investigating and responding to complaints across a wide range of disciplines.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Knowledge of District Plans and the Resource Management Act.Ideally, you will hold a G-Reg qualification already; however, it is not essential.A current full driver's license.The Hurunui District is the entrance to the Waipara wine-growing region and our award-winning Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa.
