About the Role:
In response to increasing workloads, we are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our client's team. As a Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Site Quality Head and managing the Quality Compliance Department. Your focus will be on driving continuous improvement of quality systems at a busy manufacturing site. You'll also take on responsibilities related to team management, staff training and development, auditing, and overseeing various quality-related systems.
Responsibilities:
Quality Systems Oversight:
Manage and enhance quality systems including Stability, Seed Management, Quality Training, Auditing, AHQM, and Qualifications/Validations. Oversee compliance programs such as periodic product quality reviews, sample retention programs, auditing programs, and real-time trend analysis.
Team Management:
Support team development and management, ensuring effective staff training and performance.
Auditing & Compliance:
Conduct and oversee internal and external audits. Manage and resolve compliance issues, ensuring all processes align with regulatory and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in a science-based discipline (Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry preferred).
Required Skills:
Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a GMP/GLP environment.
Management Skills: Proven experience in leading a technically diverse team.
Technical Expertise: Experience in method validation/verification, validation/qualification (including software systems), customer complaints, quality risk management, and stability reports.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of QA systems, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
Attention to Detail: Strong ability to review technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a positive influence.
Computer Proficiency: High level of proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and SAP.
Problem-Solving: Sound and logical approach to problem-solving.
