Compliance & Risk (Banking & Financial Services) The Compliance Lead is responsible for providing regulatory and compliance advice, working with stakeholders, to support the delivery of the objectives of the Risk and Compliance optimisation programme (RCOP). Collaborating across functions, gaining in depth understanding of the business environment and providing advice on the regulatory and compliance requirements, enabling effective integration with Line 1 risk management practices and the Compliance Risk Management Policy and supporting Compliance Standards. This is a contract Fixed term position for two years and location is flexible. You will: Encourage business transformation and the delivery of optimised and sustainable Line 1 risk management processes by supporting the design, development, and implementation of the RCOP uplift plan. Support the deployment and incorporation of an Enterprise Risk Management System (ERMS) by ensuring that regulatory and compliance requirements are suitably captured. Work together with internal project resources and stakeholders to make sure that design solutions tailored to the essential components are validated against legal and regulatory standards. Lead the creation of holistic Regulatory and Compliance Controls to the Business in a clear, persuasive, and effective manner. Provide guidance and oversight of enterprise risk and compliance in adherence to TSB's Enterprise Risk Management Framework, Compliance Risk Management Policy, and key documentation Assist in the creation of process maps and risk management journeys that align with regulatory and compliance requirements Experience required for this role: 5-7 years of relevant experience within the banking/financial services/legal and regulatory compliance sectors A relevant tertiary qualification Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory risk management practices Sound understanding of current regulatory trends in the banking/financial services sector Critical thinker with attention to detail while maintaining a holistic perspective The ability to thrive in a flexible and collaborative culture Strong communication and presentation skills, including written, verbal and workshop facilitation Who are we?
