Job Description Develop local understanding and the positive promotion of the use of HSEQ Management Systems and other HSEQ functions / tools. Maintain current and effective records in accordance with HSEQ Management Systems and Legislative requirements. Develop, review and maintain SOP's and Work Instructions and JSEA'S where necessary. Develop, review and maintain Hazardous Substance and MSDS Registers as required. Collection, analysis and reporting of all statistics relating to HSEQ as required by the Business Unit, customers, Corporate Services and authorities as specified. Investigate hazards, incidents or unsafe acts as directed, and participate where instructed or deemed appropriate in the co-ordination of investigations. Act as first point of contact for site and operational managers for claims and liaise with HSEQ department regarding claims on behalf of the business. Develop/ coordinate site HSEQ plans where necessary. Assist in conducting HSEQ external audits as required. Assist in the development of Corrective Action Plans in response to audit findings as required. Develop and maintain processes in which the progress of incident reports and corrective actions are tracked, reported and followed up and finalised, without compromise to quality, and develop incident reports and corrective action reports where required. Qualifications Working knowledge of HSEQ legislation and regulations. Previous experience of HSEQ management systems and their maintenance. Understanding of industrial and resource work environments. Experience in investigations management. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Excellent presentation/ training skills. Ability to analyse and problem solve at a high level. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Driving licences as required to meet site and job requirements. OHS Diploma or equivalent practical experience. Cert 4 Training and Workplace Assessment or equivalent experience.
