About Us Juken New Zealand Ltd (JNL) manufacture high quality solid wood & laminated veneer lumber products.
With production plants located in Kaitaia and Masterton we service local and export markets.

About the role We have a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced Compliance and Environment Supervisor to be based at our Wairarapa Mill in Masterton.
You will report to the GM Compliance and Risk, have one direct report and will be part of our national team of Compliance and QA&E professionals.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Remuneration: $90,000 - $110,000 Key responsibilities: Provides daily direction and supervision to the QA&E Technician ensuring performance objectives are achieved, within budget, and in accordance with JNL policies and procedures.
Maintains up to date knowledge of the NZ Legislative framework, Standards and industry Codes of Practice, and communicates requirements and changes as necessary.
Demonstrates personal commitment to achieving QEMS strategic and operational performance objectives.
Supports the Compliance & Risk GM to develop annual, QEMS business plans, objectives and budgets.
Our ideal candidate: Previous experience in a quality and environment compliance role, preferably in a manufacturing of engineered wood products, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems A qualification or equivalent experience in quality assurance, particularly Internal Auditing.
An understanding of measurement and monitoring, including statisics would be advantageous.
