| Who are we?Total Care Health Service is a leading and trusted provider of wound care services to ACC.
We provide assessment of acute and complex wounds using products that are up to date and at the leading edge of the wound management process.You will be an experienced Registered Nurse with specialist wound care skills, IV and Urinary Catheter Management skills.
No day will be the same, visiting clients at their home, workplace, or place of study.
Our community nursing services operate seven days a week.
A range of positions are available from 0.6 FTE - 1.0 FTE working rostered days including weekends and public holidays.If you have previous clinical experience as a district nurse, surgical or wound care experience, we would love to hear from you!
We provide ongoing in-service education on a regular basis.A supportive Nationwide team with a strong values-based cultureA passionate business that promotes diversity and inclusion and is reflective of the communities we serveA wide range of responsibilities caring for people receiving Te Whatu Ora, Whaikaha and ACC servicesWe offer:Comprehensive induction and preceptor programmeThe support of a dedicated team of Clinical Nurse LeadersTablet, phone, and company vehicle (work use only)Current wound care technologies to choose fromAccess to learning and professional developmentNga mohiohio e pa ana ki tenei mahi | About this position and the requirementsA qualified nurse with a current NZ practicing certificate and a right to work in NZA demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the workplaceHold a current, clean full drivers' licenseIntermediate level computer and online information recording skillsUp for a challenge in a field of nursing that is exciting, varied, and evolvingPrevious DN, surgical or wound experience beneficial but not essentialWound care and surgical experienceExperience in long-term conditions, aged residential care, or medical nursing is highly desirableActively demonstrates the ability and desire to show cultural sensitivity, awareness, and understanding of diversityTotal Care Health and Access Community Health is all about enabling our communities and making that small but impactful effect on our communities around Aotearoa.
