Community Work Supervisor at Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections), WaikatoLocated in our Hamilton city office, but may require travel to other Waikato officesThe hours of work for a Community Work Supervisor are 7.00am – 4.00pm, Wednesday to Saturday.Give back to the community whilst utilising your skills and experience by teaching those in our care by being a great role model and looking for opportunities to engage in a positive way. As a Community Work Supervisor, you will oversee and manage up to 8 community workers serving community work sentences whilst they undertake meaningful projects supporting our local communities at schools, reserves, community groups, Marae and churches.With a natural style of working collaboratively and having top-notch relationship management skills, you will be someone who recognises the importance of the work Ara Poutama Aotearoa does. Additionally, you will also be required to tow a trailer at times.The starting salary for this role is $56,773 (pro-rata).
