Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development)Anglican Care Waiapu (ACW) is the social services arm of the Anglican Diocese of Waiapu. Our services and programmes in the Bay of Plenty, Tairawhiti, Hawke's Bay and Tararua support tamariki, whanau, and communities with early childhood education, family support, grief services, and older people programmes.Tararua Community Services is a community-connected social service with offices in Dannevirke, Pahiatua and Woodville. We provide social work, whanau support, parenting programmes, maternity support, youth mentoring, family harm response, safer seniors services, counselling and community-led initiatives to help people take positive action in their lives.Working within our community programmes team, you will be an experienced community worker who can clearly demonstrate your skills and experience supporting older people and whanau. In this varied role, you will provide professional one-on-one client support which includes:assessing the needs of older peopledeveloping plans for supportproviding options for interventionsentering case notescoordinating group programmes and activities across the Tararua district.This is a permanent, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday role based in Dannevirke. We would consider someone who is studying Social Work, Counselling or similar.You'll be a warm and caring person who can relate to people from all walks of life.
