Community Support Worker (New Plymouth/Taranaki)

We are looking for dynamic, energetic and conscientious individuals that can support our clients living with complex injuries/disabilities within their own homes.

The rewarding role of a Community Support Worker includes (but not limited to): Assisting clients with personal cares, home help, shopping assistance, and meal preparations- Supporting exercise programmes- Moving and handling using hoists and manual transfers- Assisting clients to access the community Days of Work: As this is community-based work, rotating rosters would be involved including am, pm and weekend work. Your preferred hours of work can be discussed during the recruitment process.

Pay Band: $23.38 - $29.10 per hour (this is based on the Pay Equity Settlement by the Ministry of Health – hourly pay rates based on equivalency of Healthcare Qualifications assessed under Pay Equity)

Employment Type: Permanent (30+ Hours) or Part-Time (Up to 29 Hours) , Casual
