Job specific informationWe are looking for Community Support Workers who are committed to providing quality support for disabled people within our community. We are seeking people who have strong communication skills, are adaptable and flexible, with a positive can-do attitude.The support that you will be required to provide will vary. Some of the work will be physical.
We would like to hear from people who:
Areenergetic, enthusiastic and have a passion for enabling others to leadgood lives.
Havea minimum of two years of experience working in the disability sector.
Have a Health Care Assistant Qualification or a Level 2 equivalent.
Arecommitted to working with disabled adults and children to live in their ownhomes and support quality living in their community.
Havehad experience working with children with high and complex support needs.
Are confidentin working with mobility equipment, e.g. hoists, wheelchairs, modifiedvehicles.
Are able to work varied shifts.
Can connectwith communities.
Have a full New Zealand Driver's License.
