Who are we looking for We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our customer-committed, hard-working team as Community Safety Support Team Leader.
In this role, you will lead a team of Community Safety Support Officers responsible for keeping our communities safe, healthy, and thriving in terms of Animal Control, Environmental Health and Monitoring, and Bylaws.
You will play a crucial role in building team capability and in developing and maintaining positive, effective relationships with customers and colleagues, ensuring professional and customer-centric service delivery.
Ideally, you will have: Proven business support experience in a leadership role, ideally within a community safety or regulatory compliance environment.
Strong understanding of Environmental Health, Compliance, or Animal Control operations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Relevant qualifications and certifications may be an advantage.
Local Government knowledge and customer service experience.
