You will encourage participation in public policy surveys and engage with selected households through scripted interviews (typically 30-45mins per interview).All Interviewers are Independent Contractors. You can work flexibly and manage your own workload. We set you up to succeed with comprehensive training, tailored systems, guidance, and ongoing support from experienced regional field leads.The SurveyWe are recruiting for Interviewers in the Hastings/Napier region to work on The New Zealand Health Survey. This is a long-term continuous survey that collects information about the health and wellbeing of New Zealanders on behalf of the Ministry of Health - Manatu Hauora. It provides vital information for public policy development and services.This survey requires visiting randomly selected houses, and the interview is delivered face to face.Successful Interviewers often transition to various ongoing and new projects, which offer a combination of community engagement and remote work-from-home options, tailored to the needs of each project.We welcome all ethnicities to apply and encourage applications from Pacific and Maori communities.Hours and RemunerationEarnings average at $36+ per hour and are paid as commission only per interview. There is potential to boost earnings through efficient time management, achievable performance-based bonuses and other exciting rewards.You must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with at least 5 hours in the field each session.
