Nursing - Community, Maternal & Child Health (Healthcare & Medical)Good Partners Healthcare Services is a private provider of community home care and nursing in Southern region.We are seeking Registered Nurses in Invercargill and Dunedin who will share our passion for supporting our clients to stay well, live well and independent in the community.Applicants must be a NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident with a current full New Zealand driver's license.No day will be the same, visiting clients at their home, workplace, or place of study.Our community nursing services operate seven days a week. A range of positions are available from 0.6 FTE - 1.0 FTE working days including weekends and public holidays.Qualifications & ExperienceRegistered Nurse with current APC, at least 2+ years of previous community experience desirable; New Graduates may apply.Most importantly - A passion for helping clients in the community and making a contribution to the delivery of exceptional services and achieving excellent health outcomes.A warm heart – caring is at your core. You explore ways to support and encourage the continued unfolding of human growth.An agile being: Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.You will have an understanding of ACC and MOH community contracts and the ability to communicate and develop relationships with primary and secondary healthcare is an advantage.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesWorking within the Registered Nurse scope of practice, you will engage in direct assessment and clinical care of the people we support.You will enable our clients to live their best lives.You will provide clinical care including assessments, planning, and care delivery according to accepted nursing practices and standards.You will utilise your nursing knowledge, assessment skills, and professional judgement to provide community-based clinical support, education, and advocacy. Our clients have a wide variety of support needs - you may find yourself working alongside a person who is recovering from an injury, completing hands-on nursing tasks (such as wound care, personal care, catheter and medication management), right through to people who require long-term support to remain safe and well in their own home. We can guarantee no two days are ever the same!You will co-ordinate, lead, and deliver a professional, responsive, goal-oriented, and customer-focused home care service, including initial visits and reviews, goal setting, and comprehensive support planning, follow-up care, treatment, care delivery, client progress assessment, and clinical evaluation.Maintain the well-being of the people we support through effective nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.Undertaking assessments and regular reviews of clients' needs, making sound clinical decisions.Documenting all assessments and outcomes accurately.Working closely with the referrers, service coordinators, and service management to ensure proactive communication of any questions or concerns.You will be competent in your field with the ability to learn different skills and gain a broad knowledge around medication management, enteral feeding, falls and pressure injury prevention, and wound care.Work using the Buurtzorg principle of care.A competitive salary package based on experience, flexible hours, continuous professional development, tablet, phone, and company vehicle, and a supportive work environment with great team culture are offered.Applicants must be a NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident with a current full New Zealand driver's license.
