Location: Hutt South Community Mental Health Team, central Lower Hutt
Service: Local Adult Specialist Mental Health and Addiction Service
Contract: Full time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: $75,773-$106,739 (Step 1-8 of PSA / NZNO Nursing MECA, dependent on level of experience).

We have part time/full time vacancies for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our integrated multi-disciplinary team.
You will be working with an experienced team, who strive to provide high quality care/treatment to tangata whaiora and their family/whanau requiring access to specialist mental health and addiction services and live in the Lower Hutt community.
If you are a Registered Community Mental Health Nurse with the following attributes, we are looking for you:

Ability to work using a team nursing approach within the wider Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), and demonstrate values consistent with the Wellington District Local Adult Specialist Mental Health and Addiction Service.
Committed to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Practicing in a manner that service users determine as being culturally safe.
Working effectively with tangata whaiora/consumers/whanau in community mental health and addiction services.

We are looking for a person-directed, values-driven Community Registered Mental Health Nurse clinician for the Hutt South (Lower Hutt) within our Local Adult Specialist Mental Health and Addiction Service.
You will work closely with experienced clinicians to deliver safe, effective and integrated specialist mental health and addiction treatment in our local communities.
Our service has a strong, dedicated and supportive team culture, and an established Learning and Development Centre to tautoko your career development.

Mou - About you

You will be an experienced, registered mental health professional (Community Mental Health Nurse) who is passionate about working in a way that is person-directed, trauma-informed, compassionate, and offers help and hope.
You will work in a way that is holistic, integrated and collaborative, recognising people's physical health and social needs.
You understand the importance of cultural competence and equity, providing practice that is consistent with the spirit and intent of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
You understand the importance of person-directed care and intentional peer support.
You are mindful of the needs of our diverse population, for instance, Pacific peoples, refugee and migrant communities, disabled people/tangata whaikaha, rainbow communities, and those living in rural areas/isolated from health services.
You will be a registered mental health professional with a current Annual Practising Certificate.
You must have a full and clean Driver's License and the ability to consent and complete NZ or international Police vetting (Vulnerable Children's Act 2015).
