This role is to cover an internal secondment.
About the role Based in Richmond, you will help to plan and deliver events, recreation opportunities and youth initiatives, and develop meaningful relationships with other providers in the District.
You will be a natural communicator who thrives on creating collaborative day-to-day relationships with community representatives and groups.
About you Bring your proven track record of creating positive community relationships to this diverse role, and we'll put it to good use as you assist, advise and help to deliver the Council's partnerships activities within the communities it serves.
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification and at least three years' experience in community recreation, development/engagement or event management, and a good understanding of the local government sector and its obligations with regard to community engagement.
You will also have the confidence and connections to hit the ground running and be a valuable contributor to this small, but efficient, team.

The starting salary for this position is $69,000 - $77,000 + 6.2% benefits.
