Community Nurse

About the role

: The role of Community Nurse is to support whanau, hapu and iwi to maintain wellness in accordance with the clinical standards of practice and the whanau ora approach of Te Oranganui. You will work from our Te Waipuna Health Clinic, as well as running clinics in the community, rural areas and Kura/Kohanga reo.
About you: You will be compassionate, comfortable working within a Kaupapa Maori organisation and have a good understanding of a culturally appropriate service delivery. You will have strong professional ethics and a holistic approach that is patient and whanau centred. You will be solution focused and be able to build positive relationships with other team members and wider Te Oranganui staff. Being flexible, adaptable and a critical thinker will be additional strengths as you'll find that no two days are the same.
