As a Community Mobiliser, you'll work with local communities in the Bay of Plenty to co-design and drive prevention initiatives that tackle the root causes of sexual violence. This isn't about direct support – it's about building connections and creating lasting change with community leaders.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and strengthen community networks to combat family and sexual violence.Lead local initiatives that address the root causes of violence.Collaborate with other Mobilisers and experts to design impactful solutions.Gather community insights to shape prevention programmes.Contribute to a supportive and dynamic team.Skills and ExperiencePassion for social change and preventing violence.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Experience in community development or co-design.Knowledge of violence prevention models and protective factors.Comfortable leading and facilitating groups.Culturally responsive with a good understanding of Te Tiriti.Tertiary qualification (public health, social sciences) is a plus.Full and unrestricted NZ driver's licence.Why Join Tautoko Mai?Join a values-driven organisation that supports your growth and gives you the chance to make a real impact.
