About the role
Be a vital part of a team that offers service to community members experiencing food insecurity.
What will your responsibilities be:
the collection and delivery of items from donors, corporate partners and partner organisations to the Community Ministries centre
ensuring that food is collected, stored and redistributed safely, effectively and in a timely fashion
duties in line with the positive outcomes of the role.

be able to make sound logistical decisions
be able to lift and load heavy items safely

be able to manage positive external/internal relationships, connecting the centre with the broader Salvation Army and wider community services
have computer competency in the Microsoft Office Suite
hold a clean and full driving licence
be legally entitled to Work in New Zealand.
From time-to-time other duties in line with the position/role outcomes may be required.

This role is permanent part-time and hours worked will be 20 hours per week. Working days will be Tuesday to Friday, five hours per day.
The starting hourly rate for this role will be $26 per hour.
