About the role
Be a vital part of a team that offers service to community members experiencing food insecurity.
Responsibilities The logistics workers are responsible for:
Collecting and delivering items from donors, corporate partners, and partner organisations to the Community Ministries centre.
Ensuring that food is collected, stored, and redistributed safely, effectively, and in a timely fashion.
Performing duties in line with the positive outcomes of the role.

Make sound logistical decisions.
Lift and load heavy items safely.
Organise self and others, using time management to prioritise tasks.
Manage positive external/internal relationships.
Have computer competency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Hold a clean and full driving licence.
Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
From time to time, other duties in line with the position may be required.

This role is permanent part-time, with hours worked at 20 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday, five hours per day.
