Community Midwife Fixed Term Part Time Position FTE 0.8 Te Whatu Ora - Waitemata We have an exciting opportunity for a midwife to join our highly sought after community midwifery team. Our midwifery positions are key to us providing better access to maternity care for our North and West Auckland community.
Kindness, empathy and the ability to work closely in partnership with women is essential. We are currently looking for a midwife with community experience that can commit to providing quality service.
This is a fixed term position ideally starting in November. We can be flexible with working hours and FTE. This position will be predominately Monday to Friday, and may include cover for weekends and public holidays in order to provide service seven days a week.
You will need to have a clear understanding of Maternity Care in Aotearoa, New Zealand, and the choices available to whanau. A commitment to women's / people's health, contemporary midwifery knowledge and skills, good communication and customer service practices are essential.
