About this position: We are looking for a NZ registered midwife with loads of passion and commitment to join our maternity team.
As a community midwife, you will support safe, high-quality provision of antenatal and postnatal care for women unable to access a self-employed LMC.
Wairau Hospital is a secondary level maternity unit with approximately 500 births per year. The core, community, and LMC midwives work as a team with our Obstetric, Anaesthetic, and Paediatric colleagues.
Who is an appropriate applicant? You will be a midwife with total commitment to women-centred and culturally respectful care.
You will have excellent time management and organizational skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the broader organizational health care objectives.
You will have access to Midwifery Educator support and a range of clinical experiences within your role. The full-time equivalent salary range for this position is $83,667 (for a new graduate) up to $115,715 (before overtime and allowances).
