Community Mental Health Nurse - EIP - Far North at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Tai Tokerau, Northland Situated in the Far North

Must be available for an on-call roster

About the Role
Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Mental Health Nursing to join our Children and Adolescent Mental Health Team based in Kaitaia.
About the Service
EIP provides support and treatment to people between the ages of 13 and 25 in the Far North, who experience acute mental illness, assisting them with maintaining mental wellness.
About you
Our ideal candidate will:
Be a Registered comprehensive or psychiatric nurse, with a current practicing certificate
Have a current, full NZ driver's licence
Have experience working with Mental Health Service users, with co-existing substance abuse disorders
Demonstrate competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
