Job Description - Community Carer, District Nursing 0.6FTE Permanent (HAU02213)
Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti District Nursing Service is a busy and dynamic team made up of experienced and dedicated nurses. The District Nursing service provides cover mainly within the Gisborne City area. We are looking for a Community Carer to support the district nursing team. This role will support the team on a variety of non-clinical tasks and provide ongoing care to people under the direction and delegation of the District Nurse. We welcome all applicants who have a passion for working with the people of Tairawhiti in their own homes and who are able to work independently as well as part of a team.
The successful applicant will have:
a clean full New Zealand driver's license
an understanding of tikanga, whanau ora and te reo Maori
