Mo tenei turanga mahi | About this roleThis is a permanent part-time role, working 3 days (22.5 hours) per week. The purpose of this role is to maintain our amazing volunteer base by building the volunteer capacity in the region to support clients and Blind Low Vision NZ (BVLNZ) goals. You will recruit and support volunteers and work alongside Community Committees.

Appointing suitable volunteers to align with BLVNZ's goals and strategic directionDeveloping and maintaining professional working relationships with community committeesManaging the expectations of volunteers and community committees.Promoting BLVNZ's new volunteer strategy and change management.Please note that this role will be running throughout our shut down period and all applications will be reviewed in the new year, when we reopen (6 Jan 2025).
